Christophe THEVENET

Practices in law for lawyers and professional companies, corporate law and general business law .

Christophe holds a DEA de droit des affaires et d’économie (Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne). He was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1992.  

He has a widely recognized expertise in the area of legal and regulatory matters relating to lawyers, law firms and other professional companies. He advises clients in connection with setting up, restructuring and selling their firms. He also represents clients in partner disputes and disciplinary litigation.

He also practices in corporate law and advises companies and groups of companies in their restructuring and development operations.

Member of the Conseil de l’Ordre of the Paris Bar (2011-2013), secretary of the professional practice commission (2012) and the ethics commission (2013), Christophe THEVENET has also been appointed as an expert member of the Professional Status and Rules and Ethics commissions of the Conseil National des Barreaux (CNB). He is also Honorary President of ANAAFA, the association which processes the tax declarations of more than 22 000 lawyers. He is also a Member of the Bureau of Conseil National des Barreaux (CNB) (2018-2020) and teaches at the Ecole de Formation du Barreau (EFB).

Dominic JENSEN

Advises French and international lawyers and law firms in the development and structuring of their activities. He advises on the legal structuring of law firms, on rules of professional practice and also conflicts between partners. Dominic has also developed a specific expertise regarding the activities of UK and US LLPs in France. He is a recognized expert regarding the strategy and organization of law firms and a respected analyst and observer of the legal market and its evolution. He holds a DESS de Droit du Commerce Exterieur (Paris 1 – Panthéon Sorbonne) and an LLM (Masters of Law) from New York University School of Law. Dominic Jensen has dual British and French nationality.

He is the author of « Cabinet d’avocats, création et stratégie, organisation et gestion » collection Référence, Editions Dalloz and Scientific Director of Dalloz Avocats, exercer et entreprendre. He is also the author of numerous articles in leading publications concerning the organization and strategy of law firms and professional practice issues. Between 2001 and 2009, Dominic also created and managed the online legal publishing company Legal News.

Dominic Jensen regularly participates in events and training programs organized by the Paris Bar (Barreau entrepreneurial) and the Conseil National des Barreaux. He is an Expert Member of the « Statut professionnel de l’Avocat » and « Droit et Entreprise » Commissions of the Conseil National des Barreaux. He has created several cycles of traning programs on law firm management and strategy for the Paris Bar and for Dalloz Formation. He teaches at the Ecole de Formation du Barreau (EFB).

Cécile HUBERT

Practices in corporate law, commercial law and contracts. Cécile advises and litigates  for companies, their managers and their shareholders.

She advises on the creation and restructuring of commercial and civil corporate entities (acquisitions, capital raising, management packages. She also advises on shareholder agreements, commercial leases, sales conditions and commercial contracts…).

 

Cécile Hubert holds a DESS de Droit et Fiscalité de l’Entreprise and a Magistère Droit des affaires et DJCE). She has a solid professional experience in different English-speaking countries and has been a member of the paris Bar for more than 10 years. She is an Expert advisor for Paris Pionnières, an incubator of Start-up companies promoting female entrepreneurship.

Juliette has developed a recognized practice in the field of litigation on matters regarding the legal profession. She advises lawyers and law firms in pre-litigation, litigation and ethical and disciplinary matters.


Juliette SCHWEBLIN joined LIBRATO AVOCATS as a partner in 2018. With her years of experience acquired in particular alongside the Bâtonnier Jean-René FARTHOUAT, she brings to the firm her important expertise in litigation between partners, between firms and associates as well as discrimination and harassment issues and also social responsibility of law firms.

 

Juliette also has a strong expertise in litigation between shareholders or litigation related to unfair competition situations that may result from these disputes (misappropriation of customers and know-how, employee poaching, etc.) where she frequently assists company management faced with these difficulties.

 

She is also recognized for her litigation skills in the field of construction and real estate (liability of builders, real estate development, leases, co-ownership ...)

 

Juliette has been a lawyer of the Paris Bar since 2002. Prior to joining Librato Avocats, she worked for Farthouat & associés. She is a graduate of Paris V Malakoff University (DESS national, European and international litigation) and is trained in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). She practices in French and English. 

 

Beyond her commitment to her clients, Juliette Schweblin is a member of Association Droit & Procedure, the Institute of Risk & Compliance, Women and Law, and Licra.

Marie LALANNE

Holds a Master 2 Droit du commerce (Université Panthéon-Sorbonne – PARIS I) and is admitted to the paris Bar. She has been with the firm since 2015.

 

Marie works mainly with our lawyer and law firm clients for the creation, the transformation or the sale of their firms. She also regularly represents partners in partnership disputes before the courts and the disciplinary jurisdictions.

Amélie FIGUEROA

Amélie holds a Master 2 degree in Company Tax and a Magistère in Law, Tax and Accounting of the University of Aix en Provence.

 

She assists our professional clients (lawyers and other regulated professions) and our corporate clients  in the areas of contracts, company law, commercial law and professional regulatory issues.

 

She also works on setting up new entities,  restructuring and transmission of companies and litigation related to these matters.

Marie GABET

Marie Gabet holds a Master 2 degree in General Private Law (University Panthéon-Assas - Paris II) and is a lawyer of the Paris Bar.

 

She is mainly involved in litigation in contract law, commercial law and disputes involving members of the legal professions.
